Ta'leem
Terms and Conditions
These terms govern access to and use of Ta'leem by academies, staff, and students.
Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. Acceptance
By registering an academy, creating an account, or using Ta'leem, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. The service
Ta'leem provides learning management features for academies, including courses, lessons, assignments, attendance, progress tracking, and related administrative tools. We may improve, change, or discontinue features as the product evolves.
3. Accounts and academies
Academy admins are responsible for their workspace, including inviting users, assigning roles, managing content, and resetting trusted devices when appropriate. Users must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and notify their academy if unauthorized access is suspected.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share accounts or attempt to bypass trusted-device or access controls
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
- Interfere with the platform, other users, or academy data
- Use Ta'leem for any purpose other than legitimate academy learning and administration
5. Content and learning records
Academies and their authorized users own or control the content they upload, including course materials and submissions, subject to applicable rights of students and staff. Ta'leem may host and process that content solely to provide the service. Users grant Ta'leem a limited license to store, display, and process content as needed to operate the platform.
6. Trusted devices and access controls
Ta'leem may bind accounts to a trusted device or browser and allow academy staff to block accounts or reset devices. These controls are tools for academy policy enforcement; academies remain responsible for how they apply them.
7. Availability
We aim to keep Ta'leem reliable, but the service is provided on an “as available” basis. Planned maintenance, outages, or third-party infrastructure issues may temporarily affect access.
8. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ta'leem is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free performance. Academies remain responsible for their teaching decisions, student records, and compliance with local education requirements.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ta'leem and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or learning outcomes arising from use of the platform.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, security risks, or misuse. Academy admins may also remove users or request workspace closure according to their own processes.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be raised with your academy administrator, or through the contact details provided when your academy was registered on Ta'leem.
